Welcome to Deep Listening To Nature

Welcome from Iris Ray Nunn

Hello I'm Iris, the DLTN company owner and proud creator of this unique way of connecting with Nature that has gifted hundreds of people with a renewed sense of belonging to Earth. My approach to walking in the bush in a reverent manner stems from being free to explore and instinctively attune closely to Nature’s wisdom.

My love for Nature was nurtured by my parents. I grew up constantly exploring National Parks with them and my siblings, connecting me intimately with some of the world’s oldest rainforests. When I first heard Mother Nature speak to me, my life moved in a profound direction leading me to learn from the original people of the area of the Central Desert of Australia, where Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Atila stand.

These generous and loving people are called the Anangu who have lived in central Australia for over 700 generations, tens of thousands of years, ‘at one’ with the natural world.

My work today at Uluru as a private guide, certified to interpret the natural and cultural values of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, supports visitors to learn about one of the world’s oldest living cultures, and to immerse into the stillness of the land. A great responsibility I am very proud of. I've guided both individuals and groups on unique retreats into the rainforests of the east coast, through urban parkland, and out in the semi-arid desert bush lands of the Northern Territory of Australia for the past seven years. With 29 years of experience in the healing arts and 20 years participating & facilitating women's sharing circles, I bring a background steeped in supporting others to find balance, peace, health and happiness

At the core of Iris Ray Nunn's philosophy lies the belief that nature possesses an innate wisdom—a language older than time itself. Her passionate pursuit is centered on unraveling this hidden dialogue and nurturing the invaluable connection between humanity and the natural world. Iris champions the transformative power of deep listening, asserting that within the whispers of leaves and the rustle of rivers lie the answers to some of life's most profound questions.

Iris also designs and guides private Uluru and Central Australia retreats for families, friends, yoga and meditation teachers, coaches, facilitators and small groups.
